Vantage Points

Michelle, Ryan, and Ethan!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of traveling to beautiful New Market, MD and met the newest addition to the Sheahin family- Baby Ethan!

Despite the fact that he had the sniffles, Ethan was a FANTASTIC model. Just look at that smile, he was born for the camera!

Michelle and Ryan are new parents, but you really couldn't tell when you saw them interact with their baby boy, they're naturals! There's an absolute TON of love in that house, and I think that shows in the sample of photos below.

Happy Baby. Happy Parents. Beautiful Life.

Congratulations guys!!!

St. Mark Class of 1960 Reunion

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of driving into Catonsville, Maryland to photograph the reunion of the class of 1960! It was a classic fall day, and the event was held on their beautiful campus in a brick and white building. The event was well attended, with each classmate taking their turn in reminiscing of days gone by, enjoying the wonderful catered food, and watching a slideshow with photos and nostalgia from 1960!

The event was topped off by a delicious cake from Sugar Bakers! It was a true privilege documenting such an important event, here are some highlights from the day!

Edgar Allen Poe on the Birth of Photography

For all of you photography/literature nerds out there....I stumbled across an interesting article today about Edgar Allen Poe and his initial impressions of the camera as it was invented in 1839.

The piece at the bottom, talking about how just 130 years after he wrote this, we took a camera into space to take photos on the moon, is mind blowing.

Check it out!

Ocean City, Maryland Wedding: Renee + Kieth

In romantic fashion, Keith proposed to Renee on the Ferris wheel in Ocean City, MD earlier this year. So when it came to planning their wedding, the location was easy to pick!

The threat of foul weather did not sway this couple from their plans to get married on the beach. Thankfully, the rain held off and it went off without a hitch! Together with their son Brody,  they married each other in a meaningful ceremony at the beach on 49th street as their friends and family looked on!

Then it was off to Hooper's restaurant for a crab feast with all the trimmings. After filling up on crabs and playing a few games, the wedding moved on to Seacrets where the party really ramped up and everyone danced the evening away!

Despite a bit of wind and high surf, this couple had a fantastic coastal wedding! From all of the hand made details to the cake made by the bride's father, there was a lot of love put into this wedding by everyone that participated. It mirrors the love that they have for each other, and it was an honor to be a part of such a meaningful day in their lives!

More teaser photos are coming soon, so be sure to sign up to receive these updates!
